St. Patrick's Day Feast!

I just can't let St. Patrick's Day come and go without giving you some awesome ideas in case you're in the mood to get a little Irish.  It really is kind've sad that we only cook this food once a year, you know?  Good stuff.  So I thought I'd share a few of my favorite St. Patrick's Day recipes; I don't want any of you to miss the chance to make a spectacular meal if you're so inclined.  Just click on the photo for the recipe, and I've also provided a link to a printable version.  So here are a few stellar recipes from the Circle B Kitchen to make your St. Paddy's Day all that more delicious...

Perhaps the Best Corned Beef and Cabbage Meal ever.  Our corned beef is cooked in beer and is so good and so tender; simply divine. I've given you step by step instructions on cooking cabbage (of course), potatoes and carrots to accompany your corned beef; it's all done in one pot which gives it just like a million bonus points, if you ask me.  Click here for a printable recipe.

To go with that beautiful corned beef, etc., we like to serve our cheese-y beer scones.  They're incredibly delicious and packed with cheddar cheese, chives and yes, beer.  Here's the recipe for a printable.

And for those of you who may be so inclined, how about some delicious colcannon!  It's an Irish blend of mashed potatoes and cabbage and is entirely and completely scrumptious.  There may be a little butter in there.  Here's a printable recipe.

No St. Patrick's meal would be complete without a little soda bread.  And please let's not get our panties all twisted over whether it's authentic or not (whatever that even means).  This is the most delicious bread imaginable.  It's got a hint of sweetness that makes it lovely for even serving after dinner.  Here's a printable recipe.

And here's a thought... maybe use that leftover corned beef (or save some just for this!) in an outrageously good reuben sandwich.  There are no words to describe the deliciousness.  Here's a printable how to.

Hope this inspires you to hit the kitchen and cook up your own feast!  Have a very fun and happy St. Patrick's Day!

XOXOXO
