Our Top 10 Picks for 2015

An early Happy New Year to everyone!!  We still have a few days before we kiss 2015 goodbye, but seeing as how this is my favorite time of the year, I'm already in party mode and getting things in order for our New Years' bash.  And by bash I mean the two of us attempting to down as much food and drink before midnight as is humanly possible (or even sort of inhumanly at times).  And this carries over into New Years Day as well.  It's an historic tradition here to wake up on the 2nd and want to kill yourself.

But before we get to all of that fun, I believe a little retrospective might be in order, so I thought I'd put together a list of the top 10 most popular recipes on the blog this year, just in case you might have missed some of them.   And in most cases, your favorites (compiled from your comments, emails, re-posts and website referrals) coincided with my favorites as well.  Of course, there are several that have become Circle B Kitchen standards that didn't make the list, so I've added an honorable mention list which includes a few of those.  So without further adieu, I give you the Circle B Kitchen top 10 (in no particular order) for 2015...

1.  Circle B Kitchen Sweet and Spicy Party Wings

Had to put these first because they're a must-have for your New Years Party.  Holy cow... so good.

2.  Spaghetti with Clams in Parchment

This is another incredibly special dish that is also going to make it onto our New Years menu this year.  Amazingly delicious.

3.  Blackberry (Mulberry) Crumble Bars

These little crumble bars turned out to be a big favorite for very good reason... they're deliciously irresistible.  One of my personal favorites of the year too.

4.  Pear Salad with Blue Cheese and Candied Pecans

Yep.  It's that good.

5.  Mediterranean Shrimp Bake

So Easy, so very good.  Nuff Sed.

6.  Oven-Baked French Fries

These babies turned out to be a total game-changer in the Circle B Kitchen.

7.  Applesauce Cake with Caramel Icing

Perhaps our favorite cake to date.  Moist, delicious and very, very festive.

8.  Bourbon Maple Salmon

I've made this salmon so many times since posting it a few weeks ago.  We can't get enough of it.

9. Cheesy Chicken Quesadilla Pie

You guys let me know that this one was a winner in your kitchens too.  YUM!

10.  Snickerdoodle Peach Cobbler

Oh my.  I'm not going to sleep well until peaches are back in season.

Honorable Mention because they must be, well, mentioned...

Circle B Kitchen Seasoning Salt

Our jar is never empty.  A must-have at all times.

Mexican Sloppy Joe Sliders

These little guys are so good.  The Husband declared them his all-time sloppy joe favorites.

Shredded Chicken for Tacos

This here is some mighty tasty taco meat and fixin's for our very favorite chicken taco.

It's been an amazingly delicious culinary year and we're hoping for more of the same in 2016.  So Happy New Year to you from the Circle B Kitchen!  Eat well, be well and may 2016 be your best yet!
